Nicholas Kazanas

Nicholas Kazanas is the director and a teacher of Yoga and Vedanta at the Omilos Meleton institute, which was founded in 1976. It focuses on Philosophy (Platonism, Vedanta, Christian and Buddhist ethics). The Institute also offers courses in Sanskrit, Comparative Mythology and Political Economy.He is a Sanskritist by training, and has taught Indic texts in England for several years. He has published in peer-reviewed international journals.

He was one of the few contributors in a special volume of the JIES on Indo-Aryan migration who argued against the concept.[1] Kazanas' paper was criticized by five mainstream scholars, among them JP Mallory. In the latter issue of JIES, Kazanas responded to all his critics in the article ‘Final Reply’.[1]
