Nicholas Barker is an English drummer. He is the former drummer of the British symphonic black metal band Cradle of Filth, who went on to play with Norwegian black metal band Dimmu Borgir as well as Brujeria, Old Man's Child and Lock Up. He excels at fast double bass drum work and extremely accurate blast beats. It seemed his real potential was unleashed when he played with Dimmu Borgir. One of his skills that go unnoticed by many are his odd time signatured multi-tom fills and his dynamic accuracy. His current position is with Benediction.

His influences are: Neil Peart (Rush), Gene Hoglan (Dark Angel, Death, Strapping Young Lad), Clive Burr & Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Pete Sandoval (Morbid Angel).

He played the drums for the Dust album which will be released soon (actual release date May) and the last Benediction album which will be released in the summer.

Currently in the studio with Testament.
