Nica-Sol S.A. is a new business venture proposal for Nicaragua focused on electricity generation to meet the needs of the un-served, isolated population of the country. Founded in January 2005, Nica-Sol is currently investigating market opportunities in Central America. J. Kieran Murphy, a 17-year business veteran is the founder of Nica-Sol. He has studied business and rural culture in Nicaragua while living there in 2004. He is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at the University of Denver and holds a Masters of Science in Information Systems from the American University in Washington D.C.
