Regie holds a bachelor degree in Architecture and a 2 year degree course in Construction Supervision at the University of Santo Tomas. He was the designer of one of the leading pizza franchise in Metro Manila. While studying in UST he used a point & shoot film camera to document their design & drawing projects. He then later acquired a digital point & shoot camera for both school & hobby. After having much thought in photography, he self studied photography religiously. Regie was one of the founding member of PADPO, Phil. Amateur Digital Photography Organization.
