[edit] License tagging for Image:Kings logo v2.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Kings logo v2.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:09, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] EWU
I deleted the logo because it had been tagged with a licence more restricted than the GFDL required for Wikipedia. I see it has been retagged as fair use, which may avoid the GFDL problem. jimfbleak 20:58, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- If they are your images, chose the GFDL-self option when asked to select a tag, and make sure that you say in the description that they are your images. Other options, like for use on wikipedia only, or educational use only, are more restrictive than GFDL, and inevitably lead to speedy deletion. Hope this helps, jimfbleak 08:38, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Smile!
NAHID has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Smile to others by adding {{subst:User:Templateuser/Smile}}, {{subst:User:Templateuser/Smile2}} or {{subst:User:Templateuser/Smile3}} to their talk pages. Happy editing!
- Hi Niaz Bhai, welcome to wikipedia. Nice editing on EWU. It would be better if you add images on this article. BTW, Private University entries in wikipedia needs massive help. Very few BD wikipedians have the courage to expand private university related articles on wikipedia. I'm trying to expand it, though not much has been achieved yet. You can add contents on red link {{Private Universities of Bangladesh}} if you get information or you can expand stub related articles as well. However nice to meet you. Thanks again. NAHID 08:33, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'd second that. Private unis in Bangladesh need loads of help from everyone. NAHID happens to be the only Wikipedian widely interested in the subject. But, his Herculean efforts need ample support from people like you. I've been on and off in the project, mostly in the area of keeping the lot organized in a comprehensive category structure. It would be a great help if you took the work further. Cheers. Aditya Kabir 15:56, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Wiriting in Bangla
Though I don't have an account with the Bangla Wikipedia, neither do I contribute in Bangla, I guess I still can give you three links that might actually help you:
May be you can check out with some of the Wikipedians who have common accounts both in Bangla and English Wikipedia. User:NAHID could very well be the starting point. Cheers. Aditya Kabir 06:22, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- Niaz, if you are using Windows, Avro can be a great option for writing Phonetic Bangla. We are also trying out built-in Bangla typing in the forms, that should come out pretty soon.
- The links provided above work fine, especially 02 has several keyboard modes and can convert old text.
- If you are interested about Bangla wikipedia, you can go ahead and open an account there. We can help you about any topic once you join and start editing. Also, there is a mailing list. Thanks. --Ragib 07:09, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject History of Bangladesh
WikiProject History of Bangladesh has started. It needs members and participants. Aditya Kabir 11:59, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Paharpur and Mahasthangar
There's already a stub article for Paharpur. Your contributions would be most welcome there. But, make sure that you cite your sources, so that they don't fall into the area of original research. Especially helpful would be images. If you took any images there, please, upload them to Wikimedia Commons. Aditya Kabir 15:35, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rajshahi University
Check out the Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Rajshahi University if possible. Thanks--ppm 05:11, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
