Niall FitzGerald

Niall Fitzgerald (born September 1945, Dublin, Ireland) (Knight Commander of the British Empire) is an Irish businessman.

The following are his known milestones and biodata.

He joined the board of Unilever in 1987 and was appointed CEO in 1996. He is currently the chairman of Reuters Plc.

Brands made by Unilever include: Lipton, Dove, Hellmans, Cif, Domestos, Impulse, Vaseline, Ponds, Signal, Comfort, Slim fast, Magnum, Solero, Bird's Eye and Findus.

His interests are sculpture, jazz, antiques, opera, paintings and golf. Supports the Irish Rugby team and Manchester United.

He was given an honorary knighthood, as he is not a British subject.
