NHS Employers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NHS Employers is an organisation representing all National Health Service (NHS) organisations in England in their role as employers.

NHS Employers was formed by the NHS Confederation in 2004 and took on responsibility for a wide range of human resources issues from the Department of Health. It conducts national pay and conditions negotiations for all NHS bodies in England (whether or not they are members of the Confederation).

NHS Employers also promotes the NHS as an employer, and represents NHS employers on a wider basis to government and others.
