Nguyen Van Xuan

Nguyen Van Xuan (died 1989) was President of the Provisional Central Government of Vietnam from 1948 to 1949 during the end of French rule in Vietnam. In April 1 1947, he was promoted to brigadier general (two-star general, entry level in French army ranking system) of colonial troup, a local army with French commanding officers. Born 1892, died in exile 1989 in France.
