Ngoubou

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ngoubou is a purortedly surviving ceratopsian-like cryptid said to live in the savannah region of Cameroon[1]. It is said to live in herds and fight elephants for land, despite its smaller size (about the size of an ox, according to locals[2]).

Although ngoubou is also the local word for rhinoceros, the locals of the area are adamant that the ngoubou referred to here is a different animal altogether.

Ceratopsian fossils have, thus far, not yet been found in Africa. Most have been found only in Eastern Asia and North America, with one find in Australia.
