NGC 1128 is a "dumbbell galaxy" in the Abell 400 galaxy cluster. It is the center of the 3C75 radio source and contains two orbiting supermassive black holes on their way to merging. Lewis Swift is credited with dthe iscovery of NGC 1128 in 1886. However, there is a possible 5 min error in Swift's records that casts some doubt on his discovery.[citation needed]
