[edit] Why I deleted your edit

The edit you made to Pakistan was to add a link to your own user page: this is seen as vanity and is considered a type of vandalism of articles at Wikipedia. If it was done in all innocence I understand, however please don't do it again. -- Francs2000 | Talk 18:05, 28 August 2005 (UTC)

You can add what you like to your user page, it's a space we allow for any vanity you like here at Wikipedia, just don't go completely overboard. The real problem with your edit to Pakistan was that you added a link to your page into the main article, which is a big no-no. Have a look at some of the links I left for you above, and make edits to articles if you like what you see. And as a British family historian I am fascinated with the possible link you make to Genghis Khan, I unfortunately can only claim descendancy from farm labourers and stone cutters! -- Francs2000 | Talk 18:46, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
Hi Nezer I was just reading your user page again and was intrigued by your comment Please join the ACLU. Is it possible for non-US people to join the ACLU? Incidentally if you are interested in family history here's my family history index. -- Francs2000 | Talk 19:53, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
If you want to type your signature like I do type ~~~~ (this is explained in the welcome message above) -- Francs2000 | Talk 22:36, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
