[edit] Character Biography

Prior to M-Day, he was part of Storm's unseen squad. He kept his powers in the wake of Decimation and thus currently still resides at the Xavier Institute.

Strangely, Emma Frost told him to step out from a sparring match to determine who would become the team of X-Men trainees.

In New X-Men vol. 2, #29, it was revealed that Nezhno is from Wakanda, and he was the only student allowed to attend the wedding of Storm and the Black Panther.

[edit] The Quest For Magik

Nezhno is stated to appear in an upcomming arc entitled The Quest For Magik in New X-Men #37. According to Chris Yost, Nezhno will be talking and using his powers as well as involved in the plot.[1]

[edit] Powers

Nezhno's powers have not been identified. His codename may provide insight into their nature, however: "nezhno" is a Russian word meaning "tenderly," and thus his powers are perhaps passive (i.e. "on all the time") and/or non-violent, like Blindfold's power.

[edit] Miscellanea

  • Nezhno's position as a member of Storm's former squad was revealed by his creators on [2]'s forum.
