Template talk:NextYear

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage:

You can supply a year as a parameter.

  • {{NextYear|2001}} = 2002

If you do not supply a parameter, the current year (i.e., 2007) is used.

[edit] Bugs

Looks like the "year after 2001" is 2007. Shouldn't it be 2002?

  • 2002

If the bullet item above says 2002 the problem has been corrected. If not, there is still a problem. --Uncle Ed 13:34, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Hmm. Looks like {{{1|{{CURRENTYEAR}}}}} fixed it. --Uncle Ed 13:37, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, Phil lost the optional parameter when he converted it. That said, this template isn't actually used anywhere now because all instances where it was called before now just perform the '#expr:' directly. This can therefore probably be removed. --CBDunkerson 14:35, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
I must beg your pardon, I certainly didn't intend to. —Phil | Talk 10:12, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
No worries. It's easy to overlook little things when doing these total conversions. --CBDunkerson 12:09, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
Well, I learned the technique of adding an optional parameter, anyway. --Uncle Ed 15:06, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
