IMDb profile |
Next Friday is the 2000 sequel to Friday, which depicts the neighborhood of South Los Angeles in a comedic sense. The hero, Craig Jones (Ice Cube), leaves home and moves in with his lottery winning and sex-crazed uncle (Don "D.C." Curry) in Rancho Cucamonga. With so much trouble in the suburbs, he wishes he was back in the tame streets of South Central L.A.. Craig's cousin, Day-Day (Mike Epps) has a serious problem with his pregnant ex-girlfriend and her little, but physically bigger sister, Baby D (Lady of Rage). Craig and Day-Day have a beef with The Joker Family, while Craig's also wooing their hot sister, Karla (Lisa Rodriguez) The neighborhood bully from the first Friday, Deebo (Tiny Lister Jr.) along with his little brother, Tyrone (Sticky Fingaz), wants to exact revenge on Craig, and Uncle Elroy's house might be auctioned and sold unless they can pay in full for it the next day.
