Isn't "scion of family in possession of one of the U.S.'s major private fortunes" overstating it a bit? I think Prouty holdings were mostly local and couldn't have reached $10 million in a good year. Hardly Rockerfeller or Carnegie! Isn't being a senator and son of a Governor enough?Student7 18:16, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
