[edit] Merge proposal
The topic of this article is also covered in the History section of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. It doesn't need to be duplicated. -- Dalbury(Talk) 18:22, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
The new article does need to be merged as the original does not elaborate on the Greek history related to Turnbull settlement -- Urbanows(Talk) 03:07, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
It would be much more appropriate for this content to be merged into the more likely to be accessed 'New Smyrna Beach' article! -- Thekohser(Talk) 06:53, 08 April 2006 (UTC)
Someone might mention NSB's major involvement in "Bike-Week". Thousandas of Bikers flood the streets, and make life miserable for the natives. Paco 14:56, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Copyvio in History section
I just deleted the entire History section because it matches the content of [1] word for word. While it is just possible that the City of New Smyrna Beach copied their History section from Wikipedia, I think that is highly unlikely. A new History section will have to be built from scratch using reliable sources. -- Donald Albury 01:06, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unsourced comment deleted
I have deleted the sentence, "New Smyrna Beach, especially Canaveral National Seashore, is said by the U.S. Park Service to be the dividing line between zones 9 and 10, meaning the point at which the United States actually becomes tropical.", from the Climate section because a citation was requested two months ago, but has not been provided. Per the varifiability policy, do not re-add the material until a citation to [[WP:RS|reliable sources has been provided. -- Donald Albury 03:25, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
