Talk:New Right (Netherlands)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There has been some controversy on the following section.

Like other nationalist parties, the party is accused of racism and neo-fascism. The party itself rejects this label, however, in 2004, a photograph surfaced of Smit meeting with friends while a White Power flag is clearly present in the room. Another picture taken at the same party shows a Nazi-helmet, including a Swastika symbol. [1] . The party itself rejects this label.

I don't think it is unencyclopedic because it violates WP:NOR. -- C mon 23:12, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

The implication that is made here is incorrect: it does not follow from this photograph that New Right has a neo-Nazi ideology. So instead, you need to find someone who does make this implication, someone who says "A implies B," and insert it then in a critism section on the New Right. Intangible 23:29, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Once again, there is no implication being made in itself; rather, I pointed out that there was controversy surrounding Smit's ideological background when the series of photographs appeared on several weblogs. In my last edit I already put it under the different sub-header "controversy"; not that I neccesarily think it does not belong under the ideology header, but as a compromise.
