Newton Master Teacher Program

The Newton Master Teacher Program is one of two programs run by the non-profit Math for America. The four-year Program rewards exceptional high school math teachers who are currently working in New York City with a $50,000 Fellowship. Professional development and leadership opportunities are also available through the program. MfA has committed to funding 40 Master Teacher awards between 2005 and 2008, 20 of which have been given.
