Newmills Corn and Flax Mills

The Newmills Corn and Flax Mills are located just outside, but not far from, Letterkenny County Donegal. It features one of the largest, still working, waterwheels in the country. The millrace is 1 km long and powers two separate millheels, one for grinding oats and barley and the other for flax. The millwheel for grinding oats and barley was made by the Stevenson Foundry of Strabane in 1867.
