Newcastle Sunday is the 49th release, and second-ever DVD, by avant-folk/blues singer/songwriter Jandek, released by Corwood Industries around October or November of 2006 (#0783-DVD). It is the visual counterpart to his second ever live concert recording with the same title, filmed and recorded at The Sage in Gateshead, England.
Like the Glasgow Sunday CD & DVD and the Glasgow Monday: The Cell double CD, Newcastle Sunday features the Corwood Representative on vocals and guitar along with bassist Richard Youngs and drummer Alex Neilson, although neither sideman is credited on the album's cover. The DVD will also feature multiple angles, as did the Glasgow Sunday DVD.
