Newcastle High School is a High School located in Newcastle Australia. It is a High School catering for people from many different backgrounds, and educating students in years 7-12.

Newcastle High School at Hamilton, New South Wales, which began in 1976, is the successor of three schools - the 'School on The Hill', Newcastle Girls' High School (which began its separate existence in 1929 at Hamilton) and Newcastle Boy's High School (which moved from 'The Hill' To Waratah in 1934). Before it was established, its campus was occupied by two girls' high schools: Hunter Girls' High School and Newcastle Girls' High School. The campus of Newcastle Boys' High School became Waratah Technology High School. Mr Mierendorff is currently on sick leave, leaving Mr Kilburn in charge.-

Newcastle High School's motto Remis Velisque which is Latin for: "Characters with oars and sails". It's a quotation from Virgil's Aeneid.
