New Zealand Mounted Rifles Brigade

The New Zealand Mounted Rifles Brigade consisted of over time of 4 units of mounted infantry and fought in World War I and World War II. During World War One, it was a part of the ANZAC. Part of the brigade fought at Battle of Gallipoli where it fought under the Australia and New Zealand Division. The brigade also found in the Sinai Campaign of World War One. After World War One, the brigade was shrunk. By 1944, the brigade ceased to exist, the individual units having been absorbed into other regiments.
