New York State of Mind - Album

In 2005, New York rappers The Beastie Boys compiled an album of their previous hits with fellow New Yorker DJ Green Lantern. Combining new Dj'ing techniques with classic hip\hop which made The Beastie Boys famous, the album received some success, especially in the Tri-State area. Including some new lyrics, such as Busta Rhymes' version of the 1986 song 'Paul Revere' and Notorious B.I.G.'s 'No Sleep till Brooklyn, the album showed the repect The Beastie Boys have through the rapping world.
