Fuller Road Alternate is a superhighway extension of the Adirondack Northway, commencing at US 20 and Western Avenue in Guilderland, ending at I-90 in Albany and continuing northward as I-87.

Southbound, Fuller Road Alternate provides access to Crossgates Mall. There is a flyover ramp from that mall leading to this route northbound only, for quick access to the interstates. Ramp access to and from the mall cross over the Thruway, which is also I-87 at this point. The exit does not bear a number.

The name, "Fuller Road Alternate," is not commonly used in reference to the highway, which is maintained by NYSDOT as Reference Route 910F. Fuller Road itself is about 0.5 mile to the east. The route is colloquially referred to as "The Northway". At the southern terminus southbound, an old-style reference marker is still posted at what is commonly referred to as "The Foot of the Northway".

From US 20 westbound, Fuller Road Alternate begins directly from a dedicated right-turn lane. Eastbound, however, is accessed by an extra loop, starting as the right lane on an overpass over the Thruway, bypassing the traffic signal for southbound Northway traffic. The lane separates, bearing right to parallel Schoolhouse Road (Albany County CR 204), which can also access this ramp. 0.1 mile south of US 20, the ramp loops in two sharp turns, passing over US 20 and joining the other northbound lane afterward.
