[edit] History

At one point Route 82 went even further east, joining US 44 in going through the village of Millbrook and following the present Dutchess County Route 83 to Pine Plains. The current route was, at that time, signed as New York State Route 82A.

[edit] Miscellanea

NY 82 is the only state highway to have more than one exit with the Taconic State Parkway.
