New York State Route 421 is a short state highway in the northwestern Adirondacks in New York, connecting NY 30 to Horseshoe Lake in southeastern St. Lawrence County.
A narrow, two-laned highway, NY 421 begins at a dead-end parking area adjacent to the lake. The road is rough in parts and lacks a shoulder at most points. The route offers access to several picnic and snowmobile areas.
A dead-end sign is posted immediately off NY 30, the only route with which it intersects. The entire road is located in the town of Piercefield, although that name is not posted on NY 30 nor 421.
From NY 30, the first 1.6 mile segment is known as Paradise Point Road, offering access to private residences.
