New York State Route 359 is a short state highway located entirely within Onondaga County. It lies between Skaneateles and Owasco lakes.

It is signed north-south and travels in that direction at its southern terminus, NY-38A near Niles, but midway along its length turns east-west to reach its northern terminus along NY-41A.
[edit] Communities along the route
Although close, the route does not quite get to Niles. It ends about half a mile north of the border of the Town of Niles which is continguous there with the border of Cayuga County. The Niles hamlet is about a mile south of the southern terminus on NY 38A.

It is the only instance in New York of an unsuffixed route terminated at both ends by suffixed routes.
