New York State Route 189 is a short state highway located near the northern border of New York, USA. The highway is a north-south road located entirely within the Town of Clinton in Clinton County.

The northern terminus of NY-189 is the border of Quebec in Canada, where it continues on as Quebec Provincial Highway 209. The south terminus is US Route 11 south of Churubusco.
