[edit] Miscellanea

In the days when Nassau County had marked County Roads, Nassau County Road 105 terminated near NY 102 in Hempstead. Since Nassau CR 105 was viewed as an extension of NY 105, it has often brought speculation by some roadfans of the potential for a western terminus of NY 105 at NY 102, or even a NY 102/105 multiplex at Route 102's western terminus.
