New York Minute (song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
New York Minute is a song by Don Henley on his 1989 album The End of the Innocence.
It has been covered by the Eagles (of whom Don Henley was a key member) on the Hell Freezes Over album and DVD, as well as Herbie Hancock on his album The New Standard (album).
The song took on a new meaning after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The song was remade to include sound bites from officials in New York City and President George W. Bush.
It is featured in The West Wing episode Somebody's Going to Emergency, Somebody's Going to Jail, a line from the song. It is also featured in the Friends episode The One with Two Parts, Part Two.
