The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) is a film screening event in various American cities. It was founded in 1993 and says it has been recognized by the film and entertainment industry as one of the leading film events on the independent festival circuit. The festival hosts film, music and art events in Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles.

This festival is advertised as "the voice of independent film," and showcases around 100 films from more than 15 countries. The festival hosts filmmakers, delegates, press, distributors, indie film lovers and celebrities. NYIIFVF, passionate about exposing the work of emerging filmmakers from all over the globe, is "the place to have your projects seen and reviewed by the best of the best", comments editor Dave Sardella (Micro Cinema Magazine)." This world-renowned festival can be the launching pad to a successful career for aspiring directors, producers, and musicians. "This festival represents a new wave of independent filmmakers and offers a unique opportunity for our participants to show their projects, experience the West Coast film culture, meet influential members of the film industry, and of course give our delegates and loyal audiences the chance to see great movies and attend parties without the pretentiousness! Unlike other festivals that make a large part of their profit from charging a small entree fee to thousand of people and only accepting a few films for screening and keeping the rest of the money, this festival only has the films that show pay for their screening time.
