New York Ice Hockey Association

The New York Ice Hockey Association (NYIHA) is an ice hockey league based in New York City for high school club teams. There are currently 5 teams in the league:

  • Christ the King

Colors: Maroon/White

Nickname: Royals

  • St. Joseph by the Sea

Colors: Gray/Navy

Nickname: Vikings

  • Staten Island (non-high school team)

Colors: Navy/Red/Silver

Nickname: Rangers

  • Monsignor Farrell

Colors: Maroon/Gold

Nickname: Lions

  • McKee

Colors: Black/Green/Gold/White

Nickname: Seagulls

Defending Champions

Players can be entered in the league from 8th grade to Seniors in high school. Former teams include the Tottenville Pirates, the New Dorp Centrals, the Susan Wagner Falcons, St. Peters Eagles, and the Xaverian Clippers. Most games are played at the Staten Island Skating Pavilion in Staten Island, NY with the exception of Christ the King's home games, which are played in Flushing, Queens at World's Fair Skating Rink.
