New South Wales State League Division One

The New South Wales State League Division One is the third-highest state level men's Football (soccer) division in New South Wales, Australia. The competition is conducted by Football NSW, the state's governing body.

After the end of the 2006 season, Mt Druitt Town were promoted to the NSW Winter Super League. Sydney Wanderers, Dulwich Hill and Canterbury Bankstown were demoted down into the Division One competition. The University of NSW were also promoted up from Division Two(Now Conference Leagues) into the competition. White City and Hurstville City Minotaurs was demoted to Conference League North and to Conference League South respectively.

In 2008 there will be a shake-up of the whole New South Wales Men's, Women's and Youth competitions. There will be a restructuring of the youth teams so they're aligned with their Senior Clubs. There will be also a restructuring of the Men's Senior competitions including new teams added to the NSW Premier League and a new Promotion/Relegation system.

There are 26 Rounds in total with each team playing each other twice-home and away. The Final Series consists of 5 teams semi's:

  • First Week - Preliminary Semi-Final- 2nd vs 3rd + Elimination Semi-Final- 4th vs 5th
  • Second Week - Major Semi-Final- 1st vs Winner PSF + Minor Semi-Final- Loser PSF vs Winner ESF
  • Third Week - Preliminary Final - Loser of MJF vs Winner of MNS
  • Final Week - Grand Final - Winner of MJF vs Winner of PF
