New South Wales Attorney-General's Department

The New South Wales Attorney-General's Department (AGD) is an agency of the Government of New South Wales with responsibility for the state's courts and tribunals. The department is led by the Attorney-General, a senior minister in the state government. The Attorney-General is currently Bob Debus.

The Attorney General is the First Law Officer of the State.

The department employs just over 4000 staff.
