The New Shawinigan Arena is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Shawinigan, Quebec Canada that is currently under construction. It is due to be open in 2007. Once completed, it will host the home games of the Shawinigan Cataractes of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. "New Shawinigan Arena" is only a temporary name for the facility; it is expected to be given an official new name closer to its opening.
