New Rochelle High School is a public high school located in New Rochelle, New York. The school is a part of the City School District of New Rochelle.

New Rochelle High School, twice named a national Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, offers over 240 courses, including honors, research and advanced placement courses. 96% of NRHS graduates attend college or other institutions of higher learning. Complementing the instructional program, multiple co- and extracurricular activities and interscholastic sports offer students numerous opportunities for developing leadership skills, providing community service and extending intellectual, social, artistic and athletic interests.

New Rochelle High School, with its smaller learning communities, is dedicated to developing responsible,respectful, tolerant citizens who value cultural diversity and who possess the intellectual, social and emotional independence to become lifelong learners and contributing members of a global society. With our community, its leaders, parents and teachers; we strive to develop responsible social behavior and to provide an environment in which each student may achieve maximum growth.

The Performing And Visual Arts Education program at NRHS is a unique program devoted to:

Preparing the talented students to meet the demands necessary for their success, both academically and professionally, and by providing them with a broader knowledge, scope, insight, & balance in a comprehensive program of creative & artistic works.

Acknowledging their heritage in the New Rochelle community through a curriculum which reflects and expresses this diversity.

Viewing themselves as an integral component in the creative process.

Empowering them to become leaders in the arts by developing their creativity, self-esteem, respect, mind and body, and their role as artists.

New Rochelle High School's three-year program offers students the opportunity to participate in the community of scientific research and scholarship as part of their high school experience. In addition to class, formal individual meetings are held once a week. Students select a topic of interest and explore this topic through library research, person to person conversations with research scientists throughout the country, and telecommunication to research and college libraries. Students develop sophisticated data collecting and lab skills by completing a literature search, formulating a research question, articulating hypotheses, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting their findings to a bona fide scientific audience (e.g., The Intel Talent Search, the New York State Science Symposium, and local and regional science fairs).
