New Jersey Route 43

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Main article: U.S. Route 30

Route 43 was a state highway in the U.S. state of New Jersey from 1927 to 1953. It was fully concurrent with U.S. Route 30 from the Camden city line to its junction with what is now Route 157 (then-Route S4) in Absecon.

The Route 43 designation was removed in the 1953 renumbering to eliminate the concurrency with US 30.

There was one spur route proposed, Route S43, which would have been a bypass near Atlantic City, but it was never built.
