New Hampshire Liquor Commission

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The New Hampshire Liquor Commission regulates, and maintains a monopoly on the sale of, alcoholic beverages in the state of New Hampshire.

The Commission has three Bureaus: Enforcement and Licensing, which enforces the state's liquor laws; Marketing and Sales, which operates the state's liquor stores; and Administrative Services. There are three Commissioners, one of whom is the Chairman; as of 2006, that position is held by Anthony C. Maiola. [1] The term of commissioners is six years, and no more than two may belong to the same political party [2].

New Hampshire is one of eighteen states (known as alcoholic beverage control state) in which the state government maintains a monopoly on the sale of some or all alcoholic beverages.
