New California is an unincorporated community located in Jerome Township, in Union County, approximately eight miles north of Plain City and approximately ten miles southeast of Marysville, OH.

There is one gas station, a mini-mart, a church, and a Civil War memorial at the intersection of Industrial Parkway and State Route 42. There are currently three distinct housing developments in New California. One contains smaller 1970's era houses, one contains large 1970's houses, and a new one contains modest to expensive priced new builds.
