Nev worked as an illuminator for twenty years making books on vellum for private patrons including J.P. Getty and Naim Attallah. Since 1996 all his paintings are on 300 gram hot-press paper in Egg Tempera using best quality mineral pigments. All paintings are approximately 72x52cm.

Exhibitions at Chelsea Rare Books; Town Hall Saint Girons, Ariege, France; Belgrave gallery, London. Group exhibitions in London, New York, Edinburgh, Miami, Verona and galleries in Spain Austria France and Italy.
