Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The Teen Titans are fighting with Dr. Light and Raven loses her temper. As a result of a flush of anger, Raven loses control over her powers and strikes Dr. Light with her full strength, leaving him traumatized and whimpering on the ground. Then she goes away. The Titans are worried about her.

The following morning, Beast Boy tells a joke and accidentally makes Raven more angry. Cyborg advises him to come to Raven's room and make an apology. Later on, acccompanied by Cyborg, Beast Boy sneaks into Raven’s room to find out more about her. The two of them are dazed to see Raven's room of darkness. There are shelves filled with old books, four-eyed tragedy and comedy masks on a pedestal, chalices and braziers, ancient chests and lamps, a bed partly recessed into the far wall, a large globe in the near corner. They called for Raven, but didn't find her in the room. Then Beast Boy discovers an oddly-shaped mirror on the wall. When he holds the mirror to take a look at it, he sees two pairs of glowing red eyes, one above the other, superimpose themselves on his image. They clear to leave him gasping in shock, and he drops the mirror and backs up with a cry of fear. A red-rimmed swath of black energy shoots straight up from the object, shapes itself into an arm, and grabs him. It stars to drag Beast Boy down, but Cyborg is there in one swift leap to grab an ankle. Both Titans are yanked through the looking glass, which returns to its normal appearance and gives off a small puff of smoke.

Here they meet her different personalities - Happy, Timid, and Brave, among others - and also the thing which triggered her sudden change against Doctor Light. With Cyborg and Beast Boy's help, Raven conquers the thing and as Cyborg later says, they get "to know each other."

Spoilers end here.
