Never the Twain was a British sitcom produced by Thames Television, created by Johnnie Mortimer and starring Windsor Davies as Oliver Smallbridge and Donald Sinden as Simon Peel. The pair were next-door neighbours and rival antique dealers engaged in continuous one-upmanship. It was originally broadcast from 1981 to 1991, and has recently (2006) been shown on ITV3.
