Never S-A-Y Never is the sophomore studio album by American R&B singer Brandy. It features the hit singles "The Boy is Mine", "Top of the World" (featuring Ma$e), and "Have You Ever". Chielfy produced by Rodney Jerkins, the album helped cement Brandy as a mature hitmaker, and helped popularize Jerkins' Timbaland-inspired production sound, which he later used for recordings by Whitney Houston, Destiny's Child, and others. Never Say Never became Brandy's biggest selling album to date; in an interview with Vibe magazine in 2004, Brandy stated that the album has sold 14 million copies world wide. This album got Brandy nominations for the Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song (The Boy is Mine), Record of the Year (The Boy is Mine), and Best R&B Perfromance by a Duo or Group with Vocal (The Boy is Mine) Grammies; she ended up winning the last one.
