IMDb profile |
Never, Never Land inspired by the classic children's tale Peter Pan, the 1980 film starred Petula Clark as the aunt of a young girl who runs away from home and finds shelter in an abandoned London townhouse occupied by a gang of ruffians, thus becoming the equivalent of Wendy role-playing "mother" to the Lost Boys.
Produced by actress Diane Baker and co-starring Cathleen Nesbitt and Anne Seymour, it was unsuccessful in the UK and never received a commercial release in the US, where it was broadcast by HBO in the mid-80s.
The film's title track, "Fly Away," was included on "The Petula Clark Anthology: Downtown to Sunset Boulevard" CD released in 2000.
