Nevados de Quimsachata
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nevados de Quimsachata Volcano Group is a complex of volcanoes on a north-south alignment that straddles the border between Bolivia and Chile. It contains three peaks, all stratovolcanoes, and Quimsachata itself means three in the Aymara language of the local people. All three peaks, Acotango in the centre, Humarata and Capurata may have displayed Holocene activity.
