Nevada State Route 612 covers 9.4 miles of Nellis Boulvard, a north-south section line road. The State Route designation is applied to the portion of Nellis from Tropicana Road to Las Vegas Boulevard. The highway was constructed in 1982 under the direction of NDOT Commissioner Scott Robertson. The road was named after Ken Nellis and there is soon to be a public library dedicated to Ken Nellis in Las Vegas.

The state has plans to abandon this road from the state highway system.[1]
