Nevada Southern Railroad Museum

Nevada Southern Railroad Museum in Boulder City, Nevada and is a branch of the Nevada State Railroad Museum, also know as the Nevada Southern Railroad is located on the tracks that were installed to support construction activities at the Hoover Dam. The state obtained the tracks and right of way from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1985.
The Boulder City location offers a 7 mile, 45 minute round trip on historic railway equipment. These trips were first offered in 2002. Lessons on being an engineer are offered as well as rides in the engine.
