Nevada Landing Hotel and Casino
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Nevada Landing was a hotel and casino located in Jean, Nevada. The hotel, owned by MGM Mirage, had 303 rooms and several different places to eat. With its sister hotel across the freeway, the Gold Strike Hotel and Gambling Hall, the two casinos offered 70,000 sq ft. of gaming space with more than 1,600 slot machines.
[edit] History
On February 12, 2007 MGM Mirage announced plans to close the casino and build a master planned community on the 166 acres it owns in the area in a joint venture with American Nevada Corp. and the Cloobeck Cos. The Gold Strike Hotel and Gambling Hall would remain open. [1]
