[edit] Review
Hey would you look at this article I made. It's my first srticle made from the ground up. I still need to check it for grammar. Guess what it is [User:BrokenSegue|BrokenSegue]] 22:04, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Mr. Treason redirects
Hi Neutrality -- I'm not sure if you should be making all of these redirects, but my gut reaction is that you shouldn't be doing so. I think that these are all dynamic IP's, so that if someone else is using it later it could be really confusing.

[edit] CotW Pruning
Could you explain this pruning from the CotW page? They all have about 4 days left until they should be pruned it seems. Do you have any specific reason why you removed them? Removed nominations shoud be added to the CotW archive anyways, you can state your reason for the pruning there. Thank you. --Conti|✉ 09:14, Sep 24, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Sysop status
I recently uploaded an image Image:Melbourne map.png and then revised the map in response to requests. Despite this an older version continues to load. In an attempt to deal with that, as well as creating extra additions to the map, there are now five versions. Each time I go to it an older version is displayed. I tried to clean up the mess but I would need sysop status to do that. So, my questions are:
- Do you have any idea why the wrong version keeps on being displayed?
- What are my chances of having sysop status so that I don't have to bother people about things like this? User:Sannse could be useful to talk to about this but I have come to your page first, given the troubles she is having with anon.
- Can you please delete all but the most recent version?
Thanks. --CloudSurfer 19:08, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- I've had a look at the requirements for admin and I am obviously too green for that. I will see in a couple of months whether I am still interested. --CloudSurfer 11:13, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for your vote!
I'm new here and wondered to find the picture at Featured_picture_candidates. Thanks for your vote. We have more in our gallery [1]. Gangleri 04:24, 2004 Sep 25 (UTC)
[edit] RfC
Heads up: As you may have noticed, there's a new RFC open on you. Cheers, —No-One Jones (m) 16:51, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Have you agreed to desist from this [2]? Please advise. [[User:Rex071404|Rex071404 ]] 16:55, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Template:Logo
Why did you revert this without so much as the letters "rv" as an explanation? I expanded it to attempt to bring it more in line with Template:Screenshot. Why'd you delete it? — El Chico! Talk 14:51, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Frivolous VFD nominations
What's the idea of requesting that m:Association of Deletionist Wikipedians be deleted? (apparently without any explanation)
I notice there's no equivalent tag on the Inclusionist association, so were you trying to be funny, or what? Ambi 08:21, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] 'bookcover' replaces 'msg:fairuse' ?
Does 'bookcover' completely replace 'msg:fairuse' on bookcover images ?
Thanks.
Darren Dlloyd 08:38, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Yes, {{bookcover}} completely replaces {{fairuse}}. [[User:Neutrality|Neutrality (talk)]] 15:05, Sep 28, 2004 (UTC)
OK, thanks. I'll use them from now on.
Cheers,

[edit] Category:Gay, lesbian or bisexual writers
It might actually end up being better in the end to throw the contents of Category:Gay writers, Category:Bisexual writers, and Category:Lesbian writers all into Category:Gay, lesbian or bisexual writers - that way we don't have to make contentious claims about whether a particular long-dead writer was really gay or bisexual (or, for that matter, lesbian or bisexual). I don't have the time to do it myself - its a pretty hefty list at this point, and I remember only too well how long it took to populate - but if you agree we might be able to get one of the bots to do it at some point. -Seth Mahoney 17:09, Sep 29, 2004 (UTC)
- Just saw this note in my watchlist. I wondered about transexuals who seem to be usually linked as GLBT. Mind you, I can't think of any writers in this category but still it might be appropriate to use it.--CloudSurfer 09:05, 30 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Lori Berenson
I noticed that you've been conflicting with another user as to whether this article should be included under Category:Terrorists. Is it just this particular inclusion that you disagree on? You've already reverted from the addition of the category four times by my count (I'm not counting the reversion of the presumably accidental blanking), so it would be great if you could instead resolve this on the article's talk page. Or if it is the category itself you disagree with, consider listing it on Wikipedia:Categories for deletion and expressing your reasons there. Please let's try to avoid edit wars, and not violate the three-per-day reversion rule. Thanks! Postdlf 14:49, 30 Sep 2004 (UTC)
