[edit] Page Move

I wonder if this page should be moved to "Neutral Zone" (both words capitalized). This is for two reasons: First, the Neutral Zone in Trek refers to a specific, singular region. The Korean Demilitarized Zone is all-capitals, so why not the Trek Neutral Zone? Second, there is a "neutral zone" provided in the rules of American football, as the area between the two teams' lines. If we could split the pages and have "Neutral Zone" be about the Trek topic, and "neutral zone" be about the football topic, everything would be (IMO) more organized. -- Dan Carlson 02:30, Mar 7, 2004 (UTC)

That's an interesing idea, but the problem is that using "neutral zone" as a generic term, not referring to any one specific neutral zone, would require lowercase letters, and the meaning of that term refers both to the Star Trek-style neutral zone and the football term as well. That's why it's probably best to keep it this way. Someone who knows more about football is certainly

welcome to expand on the term in that section of the article, though.

To me this should be a disambiguation page that points to a (stub) article for the Saudi-Iraqi zone, mentions the sports usage, and points to Neutral Zone (Star Trek) with this article's contents. Any objections? Tim 20:16, Apr 18, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Time frame

The Romulan Neutral Zone is still in effect. It was established in 2160.

What exactly is meant by "is still in effect"? No timeframe for when this statement is supposedly written from is specified in the article. Someone needs to clarify this. Adam Conover 09:50, Nov 24, 2004 (UTC)
